GDPR came into effect 25th May 2018, it provides a legal framework for keeping everyone’s personal data safe, through setting strict guidelines regarding how to handle and store personal data.
The DPA 2018 applies to companies that are known as the controller (control personal data). GPDR extends to the (Processors) companies that process personal data on behalf of the Controllers.
